The angel, once a mainstay of so much art, has fallen away of late, and it's nice to see your image reminding us of the older, less splashy, art forms. In this particular case, your title encourages us to identify further with the creation, and recognize the ubiquity of pain. I like the directness of your image, it neither overwhelms nor hides, but simply stands on its own in perfect illumination…
